I’m a Dutch wedding photographer based near Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy — and I’ve called this country home for over 25 years.
I photograph weddings across Italy and Europe for couples who want their day documented honestly. No posing, no perfectly styled moments, no trends. Just what actually happens — the chaos, the quiet, the in-between.
I work in an unobtrusive way, always focused on connection and atmosphere. For elopements and intimate celebrations I work solo. For larger days and multi-day events I bring a trusted second shooter when the day calls for it.
Living here this long means I know the light, the logistics, and the locals — and I love helping couples feel at ease in a country that isn’t always easy to navigate.
