As wedding photographers, our biggest source of inspiration are people with the rawest emotions held in their stories. We believe in human connections & are fascinated by how photography captures the uniqueness in each of them.
about maaike
I’m a Dutch wedding photographer based near Lake Maggiore in Northern Italy, photographing weddings across Italy and Europe. An honest and unobtrusive approach — always focused on connection, atmosphere and moments that feel true to the day.
For elopements and smaller intimate celebrations, I usually work solo. For larger wedding days and multi-day events, I bring a trusted second shooter when the scale of the day calls for it — often Damiano, or another photographer who fits my way of working.
Living in Italy for more than 25 years means I know how light, timing and logistics can shape a wedding day here, and I love helping couples feel more at ease in the process.
