I’m Maaike, a Dutch destination wedding photographer based in Northern Italy for over 25 years, documenting weddings, elopements and multi-day celebrations across Italy with a calm, natural and storytelling approach. From lakeside villas in Northern Italy to countryside celebrations in Tuscany, intimate elopements and full wedding weekends, my work is focused on the atmosphere of the day and the honest moments in between.
I photograph weddings with a documentary eye, blending digital photography with the timeless feeling of analog film when it suits the story. The result is elegant, natural imagery that feels personal rather than staged. Working with a limited number of weddings each year allows me to give every couple my full attention and create an experience that feels personal from our first conversation to the final gallery.
Wedding Collections
Full day wedding collections in Italy begin at €5,000. Smaller gatherings and intimate weddings begin at €3,500 and elopements from €2,500. For weddings elsewhere in Europe collections are quoted individually based on travel and logistic. Each collection is shaped around your plans, guest count and the rhythm of your celebration.
