Lago d’Orta destination wedding

Henriëtta and Michel had their destination wedding at one of the most beautiful and romantic lakes of Italy, Lago d’Orta. It is located in Piemonte, not too far from Lago Maggiore. It’s scenery is characteristically Italian: small charming streets, the beautiful square and shores, it is an ultimate wedding location.

This sweet couple form Holland with South-African origins started to plan their wedding a year upfront. Unfortunately they had to postpone their wedding from May to September due to the pandemic.

The wedding planner from De Italiaanse Bruiloft helped them to plan their destination wedding and found beautiful locations for them. They had a lovely ceremony at Orta San Giulio, built on a peninsula, Orta San Giulio Municipal.

After the ceremony we took some portraits in the beautiful town Orta San Giulio. They had Italian ice cream in the town square with their family and friends. Followed by a lovely boat trip with Navigazione Lago d’Orta. They had a great time together, enjoying the beauty of the place and a romantic atmosphere. We were so happy to be part of this and to be able to capture their special day.
